Welcome to Sally and Co.
Firstly who is Sally?
"Tall Sally" was made during Covid on a farm in outback QLD.
She represents all the little farm girls and those that just love the outdoors and country life.
Who am I?
I started sewing as soon as I could sit at my Nanas big black Singer sewing machine, making simple dresses for our dolls and Barbies.
I have alway loved fabric, colour and design and ended up making it a career. I studied Illustration and the prestigious MICA Maryland Institute - College of Art in the USA then back to complete my degree at Swinburne School of Design.
I spent the next 20 years in the Interior decorating industry in Melbourne.
Then the farm change.........Over the the last 15 years my partner and i have been managing other peoples farms and collecting our fair share of orphan fur babies. Our passion for animal welfare has always been at the forefront of our farming life.
From Laverne the Border Leicester ewe, Pinky our 750kg Hereford cow to Leo and Augie our very annoying but very cute Rangeland Goats.
We have finally moved to our "forever farm" in the beautiful Alpine Valley in Victoria near Beechworth.
In my shed studio I have had the opportunity to create again.
Sally and Co toys are made with love. They are ........ simply huggable.
Enjoy Anna
And Sally..........the namesake is actually my beloved Border Collie.
